Marketing executives can also use resume objective statements to their benefit. The key is to decide whether you want to show a particular employer that your career focus is a clean match with the position they are hiring for. You don’t have to use the words “Resume Objective” or “Professional Objective” in your resume either.
Why not just add a bolded (or italicized) objective statement at the top center of your resume? The hiring manager will certainly see it. If it matches the position, there’s a great chance you’ll get noticed. Here’s an example of what one marketing executive did in her resume.
